JOIN US FOR - "31 Days of Thanksgiving & Praise - 2011"

Hallelujah! Thank God! And why?
Because he's good, because his love lasts.
Psalm 106:1 The Messsage

It is an insult to God to deny His existence or worse deny the fact that He has been good to us; regardless of what we might we might have gone or are going through. The fact that we are alive is a testimony to His faithfulness, Mercy and never-ending love for us.

It is ever so easy and convenient to see our life as half-empty (severely lacking all the things we want as opposed to it being Half-full (on its way to becoming what God wants it to be).  However, 1 Thessalonians 5:18 encourages us to “Thank [God] in everything [no matter what the circumstances may be, be thankful and give thanks], for this is the will of God for you [who are] in Christ Jesus [the Revealer and Mediator of that will]”

We must understand that:
  • To be thankful means to have the feelings and expressions of gratitude and to be appreciative
  • To be expressive means to put thoughts into action and words; to openly display how one truly feels.
  •  To show gratitude means to display the quality of being grateful and thankful. It is to show sincere thankfulness that comes from within ones heart.
  • And finally to be appreciative means for one to show and act in the intuition, knowledge and understand the intricacy of the ramifications of being thankful to God.

On that note, we invite you to join us in our yearly season of ‘Thanksgiving and Praise’.  It is a month long season where we thank and praise God for the very essence of our lives in Him.

Let us come together and be thankful for the year 2011, that despite all the chaotic levels of disasters, stress and madness going on around the world, God has been good and faithful and kept us. Whatever we might have gone or are going through I believe we DO have reasons to be thankful to God and really praise His name.

We invite you to join us DAILY, from 1 to 31 December 2011 as we open our hearts in praise to God and place our ‘virtual baskets’ of thanksgiving at the master’s feet.

HOW IT WORKS
WE:  Daily (in the morning) there will be a Thanksgiving & Praise Blog post on this website. This post will express what we at ADIGW are thankful to God for and the reasons why we are praising His name.

At the end of the blog post will be your invitation. We will invite you to express your thanks and praise to God.

YOU: Will write in the ‘comments section’ which is at the end of each blog post, your thanksgiving and praise to God.

YOU - GUEST FEATURE: If you would like to submit a guest ‘Thanksgiving & Praise’ blog article, please contact me and the necessary guidelines and arrangements will be made. We do however ask for at least 3 days notice from the time we receive your article to publication.

WE: At the end of each day, in the comments section, an appreciation of all the thanks and praise collected is presented to God in prayer.

As you join us to give thanks and praise to our beautiful, faithful and loving God, I pray that you will experience the fullness of the glory of Jesus Christ in your life and decree that you will conclude 2011 strong; spiritually and physically for God’s glory. Amen.

Enter into His gates with thanksgiving
and a thank offering and into His courts with praise!
Be thankful and say to Him, bless and
affectionately praise His name!
Psalm 100:4

Much Love,
Remi
