I am thankful for all the victories I now proclaim, all to the glory of your name! This is my reality of 1 Corinthians 15:57 "But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
Father Lord, this month, we your people lay down our thanksgiving, offering and praise at your feet. We raise our voices collectively and say a big THANK YOU for 2007! We are thanking you and embrace the reality of Psalms 50:14 Offer unto God thanksgiving; and pay thy vows unto the most High. !

We give thanks to you our God, for you have been good to us, you have shown us mercy and love. Wonderful Lord, for an awesome year, we say THANK YOU!

Dear Father, we give you thanks and we praise you for we know that it has been by your power that we have made it through 2007!!! Lord we proclaim your greatness, your wealth, your power and your majesty as explained in 1 Chronicles 29:11-13 "Yours, O LORD, is the greatness and the power and the glory and the majesty and the splendor, for everything in heaven and earth is yours. Yours, O LORD, is the kingdom; you are exalted as head over all. Wealth and honor come from you; you are the ruler of all things. In your hands are strength and power to exalt and give strength to all. Now, our God, we give you thanks, and praise your glorious name."

So today, dear Lord, as we walk into the era of New Beginnings, we place our collective offering at your feet, we thank you for all you have done for us, what you are doing and what is yet to come! We thank you for your presence in our lives. We thank you for Jesus, for the power in His name, which we as your children are previleged to use freely!

We pray that you are glorified, honoured and praised through all our small efforts; for you deserve so much more!!! Lord, be glorified!

Beautiful people, we have made it, we have seen the end of another year! All praises and glory be to God.

In this new year, we are stepping into, I want to encourage us all to make it be all about God, all about Jesus, all about the Holy Spirit, all about the Trinity!

Today 30th December 2007, I am thankful Lord, that you are moving us forward into a new season!

I am thankful that we your people, are moving steadfastly forward, such as you commanded Moses to in Exodus 14:15 "And the LORD said unto Moses, Wherefore criest thou unto me? speak unto the children of Israel, that they go forward".

I am thankful that we are moving boldly, into the realms of a New beginnings, impregnated with New Meanings!

As I run towards the beauty of a New Season

As I move forward into realms of New beginning
Bring me to my knees at the sight of your presence
Keep me firmly rooted in your will, your very essence

31 Days December 2007 Count Down - Day 29

Today 29th December 2007, Lord, I am thankful for the weapons of warfare you have given me to fight and win the battles in 2007! Hallelujah!

I am thankful for throughout this year, I was able to put on the belt of truth and the body armour of your righteousness to fight my battles with, as explained in Ephesians 6:14 "Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness"

I am thankful that throughout this year, I was able to put on the shield of faith, that stopped the fiery arrows of the enemy from getting through to me; the reality of Ephesians 6:16 "16Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked."

I am thankful because during the my battles in 2007, I was able to place over my head, the helmet of your salvation, and to cut the enemy up with the powerful sword of the spirit! Praise God! That indeed was my reality of Ephesians 6:17 "And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God"
I am thankful that with all these armour and weaponry, by your Grace, I was able to WIN ALL my battles in 2007!
I am thankful that these same weaponry by faith, will see me through the battles I will that will come in 2008!

So, today dear Father, I come to you with my box overflowing with thanksgiving for the the powerful weapons of warfare you have given to me. You armed me up completely! I am Thankful for all the victories you have given to me in 2007!
Lord I am thankful because, you fought against my enemies and you saved me in 2007, oh my sweet reality of Deuteronomy 20:4 " for the LORD your God is He who goes with you, to fight for you against your enemies, to save you."

I am thankful because, before the end of this year, I will RECOVER ALL the enemy has stolen from me, just like David did in 1 Samuel 30:18-19 18 So David recovered all that the Amalekites had carried away, and David rescued his two wives. 19 And nothing of theirs was lacking, either small or great, sons or daughters, spoil or anything which they had taken from them; David recovered all.

Lord, I pray that my box of thanksgiving, that I place at your feet, is pleasant in thy sight, and emits a sweet smelling fragrance in your throne room! Lord, be glorified.

Beautiful people, what are you thankful to the good Lord for this beautiful, blessed day?

Make a great day recovering all the spoils of your battles in 2007, getting ready for 2008, whilst making the most High God famous along the way.

Much Love

31 Days December 2007 Count Down - Day 28

Woooah... it's the 28th of December! Imagine that! 3 more days to go before we step boldly into 2008, by God's grace! Thank you God for bringing us this far! Thank you Holy Spirit for your inspiration and teaching this month. We are grateful!

Today 28th December 2008, my wonderful Lord, I am thankful for the "build up of Expectation for my reality of 2008"! Thank you Jesus!
I am thankful for expectation for it means I have hope in you for the reality of 2008 in you! Daddy, I thank you for the hope you have placed within me. To have hope in you means I am "confidently expecting" Imagine that! Romans 8:24 - 25 explains hope as "24 We were given this hope when we were saved. (If we already have something, we don’t need to hope for it. 25 But if we look forward to something we don’t yet have, we must wait patiently and confidently.)"
I am thankful not only for hope in itself, but for the endurance of hope in you Lord as I look forward to 2008; 1 Thessalonians 1:3 " As we pray to our God and Father about you, we think of your faithful work, your loving deeds, and the enduring hope you have because of our Lord Jesus Christ."
I am thankful for because I have enduring hope in you, it produces Joy and peace within me, for I know that you as my Lord, as my daddy, as my God will come through for me, bigger and better, in 2008, making Romans 15:13 my reality, it reads " I pray that God, the source of hope, will fill you completely with joy and peace because you trust in him. Then you will overflow with confident hope through the power of the Holy Spirit."

I am thankful for the built up of expectation because, it means I have a vision in you! Hallelujah! And besides without a vision, what would be the point of it all as explained in your word. Proverbs 29:18 "Where there is no vision, the people perish: but he that keepeth the law, happy is he."
So, today dear Lord, I am thankful for the spirit of expectation you are building up within me. I am thankful for the hope I have in you for 2008. I am thankful for the visions you have given me and those yet to come. I am thankful for the revelation of your will to me for 2008.
Daddy, please let my box of thanksgiving be beautiful in thy sight and let it emit a sweet smelling fragrance in your throne room. Be glorified.

Beautiful people, what are you thankful to the good Lord for this very day?

Have a wonderful day living out today, whilst being expectant for the realities of your 2008 in God's will.

31 Days December 2007 Count Down - Day 27

Matthew 9:14-15 "14 Then the disciples of John came to Him, saying, “Why do we and the Pharisees fast often, but Your disciples do not fast?” 15 And Jesus said to them, “Can the friends of the bridegroom mourn as long as the bridegroom is with them? But the days will come when the bridegroom will be taken away from them, and then they will fast."

Today 27th December 2007, Lord, I thank you for the Power and essence of Fasting incorporated in prayer.

I am thankful for the essence of Fasting because it draws me closer to you father, to seek your righteousness and your will in my life as described in Isaiah 58:9 "Then you shall call, and the LORD will answer; You shall cry, and He will say, ‘Here I am.’ If you take away the yoke from your midst, The pointing of the finger, and speaking wickedness."

I am thankful for when I fast it produces dynamic results! Hallelujah! There is no doubt in my mind that when we combine fasting and prayer, the results are outstanding. Reminds me of the king of Nineveh, who proclaimed a fast after hearing Jonah's prediction of impending doom to his people. He proclaimed a fast to avert the anger of God. He asked, in Jonah3:9 "Who can tell if God will turn and relent, and turn away from His fierce anger, so that we may not perish?" And guess what? When the city repented of their ways, prayed and backed it up with fasting, God spared them. Isn't He a wonderful God? Therein lies the power of fasting!

I am thankful for when I fast, It enables me to worship my father wholeheartedly, with no distractions! When we forsake our own self-seeking and self-indulgent ways, we glorify God. This is a reflection of Isaiah 58:13 "If you turn away your foot from the Sabbath, From doing your pleasure on My holy day, And call the Sabbath a delight, The holy day of the LORD honorable, And shall honor Him, not doing your own ways, Nor finding your own pleasure, Nor speaking your own words,".

I am thankful for the power and essence of Fasting because, God gives the blessings of deeper understanding, meanings and insights of His will and of impending danger. Such as He did with Daniel after his 3 week fast. He saw a vision of what would happen to his people in the later days. Daniel10: 2-7, 17. How cool is that?!

Also, Cornelius fasted and received divine revelation. An angel told him where to find peter. Acts 10:30-32. "30 So Cornelius said, “Four days ago I was fasting until this hour; and at the ninth hour I prayed in my house, and behold, a man stood before me in bright clothing, 31 and said, ‘Cornelius, your prayer has been heard, and your alms are remembered in the sight of God. 32 Send therefore to Joppa and call Simon here, whose surname is Peter. He is lodging in the house of Simon, a tanner, by the sea. When he comes, he will speak to you."

I am thankful for the power and essence of fasting because when I fast, my light will break forth and my healing will come swiftly! Not only that, the glory of the Lord shall be my rear guard! It doesn't get better than that does it? Isaiah 58:8 " Then your light shall break forth like the morning, Your healing shall spring forth speedily, And your righteousness shall go before you; The glory of the LORD shall be your rear guard."

I am thankful for the power and essence of fasting because I am able to interceded effectively for others, such as moses did in the days of old Deuteronomy 9:17-20 "17 Then I took the two tablets and threw them out of my two hands and broke them before your eyes. 18 And I fell down before the LORD, as at the first, forty days and forty nights; I neither ate bread nor drank water, because of all your sin which you committed in doing wickedly in the sight of the LORD, to provoke Him to anger. 19 For I was afraid of the anger and hot displeasure with which the LORD was angry with you, to destroy you. But the LORD listened to me at that time also. 20 And the LORD was very angry with Aaron and would have destroyed him; so I prayed for Aaron also at the same time."

I am thankful for the power and essence of fasting because I learn and understand the true meaning of Mathew4:4, which reads "4 But He answered and said, “It is written, ‘Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God."

So today dear Lord, I come to you with my thanksgiving for the essence and power in the act of Fasting. I am thankful for the powerful combination of Fasting and prayer! I am thankful for it teaches me be humble, obedient and draws me closer to you. I am thankful for when I fast, I still myself and give room for your spirit to move in my life and on behalf of those dear to me.

Lord, I pray my box of thanksgiving emits a sweet smelling fragrance in thy sight. Daddy, be glorified, honoured and lifted up, this very day.

Beautiful people, as the year draws swiftly to an end, I would like to encourage you all, to set aside a few days for fervent prayer and fasting. A few days to be in the presence of God, to seek His face, to sincerely thank Him for what He has done for, to and through you in 2007 and to express your heart's desires for 2008; to align your will with His for 2008 and to establish that, you will walk in the reality of His will, a day at a time, in 2008.

On that note, people, what are you thankful to the good Lord for this very Day?

Have a wonderful time in the presence of the father, in thankfulness for 2007, whilst aligning your will with His, to set the scene for a prosperous 2008.

To think of New Beginnings

31 Days December 2007 Count Down - Day 26

Father Lord, be glorified in honoured in our praises, be glorified in our thanksgiving!

Today 26th of December 2007, I am thankful for my friends…! Wow... my friends... Oh daddy, where do I start? I have the 'bestest' friends on in the whole wide world!!!
Father I am truly thankful for the friends you have blessed my life with; old and small, near and far and those that are yet to bless my life with their presence!

I am thankful for my friends who have been with and weathered the storm with me! They have been the reality of Proverbs 18:24, which reads "A man that hath friends must shew himself friendly: and there is a friend that sticketh closer than a brother"

I am thankful for their devotion, their comfort, their commitment, and their never ending love. I am simply thankful for their friendship. The friends you have blessed me have and continue to embrace me in the reality of the first part of Proverbs 17:7 which reads "A friend loveth at all times, and a brother is born for adversity"
Where do I start?

From the 'Sassy Sisters crew' to the "Famous 6" - remember snatches?, to my 'email buddy', to my god-daughter's mum, who chases me up and down the streets of London with phone calls, never given up when I can't find the time! To my honourable "HOD and His family" and to those I have met over the Internet -Jaycee, (whose writings made me remember that this ability is not about me, but about the king of glory - Imagine that!), to those I have met on numerous working contracts, and to those I have not mentioned - I definitely will be writing for months if I tried to mention each and every one of you, but you know who you are; I thank the good Lord daily, for each and every one of you and what you mean to me. Here is me saying thank God for you and for gracing my life with your presence, your imprints, your footprints.

Father, I am thankful for my friends because I have the wonderful problem of trying to fit them all into one hall, when the time comes! Oh dearie me! :-)

So, today daddy, I come to you with my boxes full of thanksgiving to you, for enriching my life with the essence of friendship. I thank you for they show love, are caring, are there to give me ear when I need it, they simply love me, just for being me. Lord, I am truly thankful.

Dear Lord, I pray my box overflowing with gratitude and thanksgiving for my friends, emits a sweet smelling fragrance in thy sight. Be glorified.

Beautiful people, what are you thankful to the Lord for this very day?

Have a wonderful day basking in the essence of friendship, whilst making the one who makes it all possible, even more famous than yesterday.

Much love

Like my skin I wear our friendship
Wrapped around me like a
surgical, magical blanket
your friendship heals my wounds,
chases away my fears
you never tell
to ease my tears

Like skin, I wear the gift of
your friendship with pride
With a joyous spirit, I will
nurture and cherish

31 Days December 2007 Count Down - Day 25

Today, 25th of December 2007, the birthday of our saviour, Lord, I am eternally thankful for your greatest gift of all to me, your only son JESUS CHRIST!
John 3:16 " For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life."

I am thankful for Christmas because the Christmas bells reminds me of the proclamation of the birth of Jesus.
I am thankful for the Christmas candles remind me that Jesus is the Light of the world John 8:12 "Then Jesus spoke to them again, saying, “I am the light of the world. He who follows Me shall not walk in darkness, but have the light of life.”"
I am thankful for the Christmas trees reminds me of the tree of the cross that Jesus died for me as explained in Matthew 27:11-66.
I am thankful for the Christmas because, with all the food, it reminds me that there is a certain bread, that gives life, that when eaten, will never cause hunger or thirst as explained in John 6:35 "And Jesus said to them, “I am the bread of life. He who comes to Me shall never hunger, and he who believes in Me shall never thirst."
I am thankful for Christmas for it reminds me that Jesus Christ is my saviour, He is my King.

So, today dear Lord, I come to you with my box overflowing with thanksgiving for giving the greatest gift; the gift of your only son, Jesus Christ. Jesus, I thank you for laying down your life for me, for dying so that I might live. I thank you that you are my pathway to the father. Daddy, I pray that my box of thanksgiving for the meaning of Christmas, emits a beautiful fragrance in thy sight. Lord be glorified, be honoured, be praised, in the name of your wonderful son, Jesus Christ. Amen.
Beautiful people, what are you thankful to the good Lord for, this wonderful, special day?

Have a wonderful Christmas, relishing in the meaning of it, giving God all the praise and glory for the privilege to celebrate this awesome day.

Have a wonderful, Happy and BLESSED CHRISTMAS.

31 Days December 2007 Count Down - Day 24

Lord, be gloried in our praises, be honoured in our thanksgiving.

Well today, I want to thank the best Dad for giving me this precious, beautiful, soothing, still developing, gift of writing...of poetry! Thank you sweet Jesus! What can I say, as I love to talk, I love to write! :-) I am definitely wonderfully made!

Many, many, many years ago, little did I or my mother (much to her despair) understand my quite serious, and sometimes annoying obsession, with the need to lug a notebook and a pen with me, everywhere I went; nor my the burning need to translate situations and scenarios into words and phrases! From trying to capture on paper, the man crossing the narrow road, to the children playing blissfully barefooted, in red dirt; to the woman carrying a basket, lopsided, yet perfectly balanced on her head, to the lonely for lone figure sitting in expectation, in an empty church! Little did I know it would lead to this, but as your word says, everything works out for good! For this, I am truly grateful.

I thank you for the peace, and joy it gives me…It's un-explainable! For Like David in Psalm 45:1, when I write, my heart overflows with beautiful thoughts of you, making want to conjure up the best rye for you!

Psalm 45:1 "1 My heart is overflowing with a good theme;I recite my composition concerning the King; My tongue is the pen of a ready writer. "

I thank you that I am able to worship, praise and glorify the love and beauty that you represent through the very words you give me:

The gift of your words

At the dawn of each blessed day
presented to me, are etches and phrases, wrapped up in
words filled with meanings and reasoning's
hand-delivered by the essence of the Holy Spirit

Their very rhythms impregnated with
love, beauty and awe-inspired mystery
propelled simply, by the unravelling reality
of who you are

I am thankful for I am able to compose a poem to emphasise how magnificent your name is such as David the great Psalmist in Psalm 8:1 " 1 O LORD, our Lord, How excellent is Your name in all the earth, Who have set Your glory above the heavens! "

I am thankful for I am able to use this gift to express love emotions to you such as Solomon and the Psalmist David, wrote in the days of old. I am able to tell you that:
In it's awareness
my soul… it dances...
to the tune of your love
it dances, as it praises your Holy name
I am grateful that I am able to use these gifts to encourage, lift up and inspire those near and far, myself included.

I am thankful that I am able to use this gift, to simply bring glory and honour to your name.

So, today dear Lord, I come today with my box of thanksgiving filled to the brim for the gift of poetry you blessed me with. Lord I am thankful for what it represents to me, what it provides to those around me and what I can use it to do, for your glory! Father, I pray this box of thanksgiving is a sweet smelling fragrance in thy sight. Be glorified Lord.

Beautiful people, what are you thankful to the Lord for this very day?

Have a wonderful day, using the expressions of your gift to inspire, uplift and build someone up, whilst glorifying the name our Lord and making Him famous along the way.

The essence of poetry

It reads and presents as a novelty
The indescribable, ascribable, visible
yet, intangible

The nature of poetry
presents parallel understanding
deep meanings and much resounding
Poetry is truly outstanding

To be or not to be...
it's not a question within my reality

Poetic rhythms within my mediums
poetic situations within my inspirations
residing within my every molecule

Transparent words coming forth
visible meanings taking shape
visible transformations taking form

31 Days December 2007 Count Down - Day 23

Yesterday, my team in church, we had our 'get together' party, before we all broke up for the Christmas holidays!. It was really good fun, nothing like having fun the good clean way huh?

I danced and danced and danced, and then danced some more. Those that know me quite well, know that I LOVE TO DANCE! :-)! At the end of the day, my feet were pleading for release from the dance floor!

This morning I woke up and my legs felt like I had just run the marathon. My feet were aching, from all the dancing! And then I though, "Lord I am really grateful and thankful for my legs, my feet!" Imagine that!!!

But yes, today, in and with everything, daddy, I really do give thanks as commanded in 1 Thessalonians 5:18 " in everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you." . I am thankful for my legs, my feet, even though they hurt because I have been dancing for hours, I am so very thankful I have them.

I am so very, very thankful and grateful for my legs and feet because, since I was born until now, I have not broken any bones in them. I am thankful because I recognise, just as the Psalmist in Psalm 139:14, that I am wonderfully made, for my legs and feet are perfect, and function just how you intended them to. Psalm 139:14 "I will praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; Marvelous are Your works, And that my soul knows very well."

I am thankful because, you see, there are people who would so desperately love to dance, but they can't because they have no legs!

I am thankful because some have legs, but have no feet!
I am thankful because some have legs and feet, but they don't function as they should!

I am thankful because, some have legs and feet that function, but they cannot dance!
So, today dear Lord, I come to you with my box full of thanksgiving for my legs, my feet, even though they hurt from all that dancing and jumping, I am so very, very thankful and grateful for them! I am really grateful father. Daddy, I pray my box of thanksgiving, that I lay at your feet, emits a smelling fragrance in thy sight. Be glorified Lord.
Beautiful People, what are you thankful to the Lord for this very day?
Have a wonderful day living out the realities of God's will in your life; whilst making Him famous along the way.

31 Days December 2007 Count Down - Day 22

Last night I was reading the good book, and found myself in proverbs, I was reading various verses and chapters in proverbs, and then I found myself in proverbs 31, the chapter about a virtuous woman! I read for a while and then I thought, with the view of women in today's society, I am really thankful for chapter in proverbs!

Well, this makes me to say, Dear Father, today 22nd of December 2007, I am thankful for the Proverbs 31, on the makings of a virtuous woman!

I am thankful because in the midst of all the labels the world tries to define women by, proverbs 31 provides a refreshing and honourable point of reference that women can aspire to!

I am thankful for this passage because it reminds me of my worth as a woman" proverbs 31:10 reads " Who can find a virtuous and capable wife? She is more precious than rubies."

I am thankful for this passage because I have the ability, by the grace of God to greatly enrich my husband's life! Ladies, isn't the man in or soon to be in our lives lucky indeed? Proverbs 31:11 reads "Her husband can trust her, and she will greatly enrich his life."

I am thankful because becoming a virtuous woman, is a humble experience, for it makes me think of and reach out to those less fortunate than myself. Proverbs 31:20 "She extends a helping hand to the poor and opens her arms to the needy"

I am thankful because becoming a virtuous woman, means that my husband will be blessed and He will sit in High places in the Land! Thank you Jesus! Proverbs 31:23 "Her husband is well known at the city gates, where he sits with the other civic leaders."

I am thankful because my children will bless me! That is some heavy weight of blessing. Proverbs 31:28 "Her children stand and bless her. Her husband praises her:"

I am thankful because, in the name of Jesus, I will be rewarded for all I do as a virtuous woman; my man and by God ! Proverbs 31:31 "Reward her for all she has done. Let her deeds publicly declare her praise."

So, today, dear Lord, I place my box at your feet, full of thanksgiving for Proverbs 31 Virtuous woman. I am thankful because, it gives me something to aspire to, it takes my focus away from what the world wants or expects me to be. It brings my focus back to what you want me to be a woman. For this I am grateful.

Lord, I pray this is a sweet smelling box of thanksgiving in thy sight. Father be glorified, be praised.

Beautiful people, what are you thankful to God for this very day.

Have a wonderful day, being all you can be, based on who our God is; not forgetting to make the father famous along the way.

Much Love

31 Days December 2007 Count Down - Day 21

Last night, I slept quite late; I was doing some 'stuff' from work. I thought, wow, it's nearly 12:00am and here I am, still working, and then I thought, I was enjoying myself, I really didn't mind, for I really love what I do! This spurs me on to write this post.

Today Friday 21st December 2007, I am thankful for my Job, my work, my profession, what I do to make a living, however we want to phrase or call it, I am truly thankful for it!!

Father, I am thankful because, I absolutely, absolutely love what I do!!! I am aware of the fact that not a lot of people can say and mean that, but because of your love and blessings, I am able to! I am not just in a job to make a living, I am in a job that I really love! wow! For me that's a hube bonus!
I am thankful because, I mean, work never feels like work! Yeah, the workload might feel heavy from time to time, but I enjoy it immensely all the same. I pray daddy, that you bless your children with the same fulfilment as you have given me, whilst I work.
I am thankful that my daily toiling at work is satisfactory and that it brings me good rewards, making me live out the reality of Proverbs 12:14 "man will be satisfied with good by the fruit of his mouth, And the recompense of a man’s hands will be rendered to him. "

I am thankful that my there is profit in the daily labour / work I do, making Proverbs 14:23 my reality "In all labor there is profit, But idle chatter leads only to poverty."

I am thankful because when I excel in my work, I will stand before kings! Hallelujah, making Proverbs 22:29 my sweet reality "Do you see a man who excels in his work? He will stand before kings; He will not stand before unknown men"

So today dear Lord, I come to you with my box of thanksgiving for my job, my work! I am thankful that it not just a job that pays the bills, but it is a job / work that I love and take pleasure in doing. I am thankful that when I work hard at it, I will excel in it and it will bring me to stand before kings. Father, I pray this is sweet smelling offering in thy sight. Be glorified!

Beautiful people, what are you thankful to the good Lord for Today?

Have a wonderful day, doing what you do, well, whilst making God famous along the way.

Much Love

31 Days December 2007 Count Down - Day 20

When praises go up, blessings come down! Keep presenting your thanksgivings to the father. It is good to give thanks, to the one who has kept us from January until now. It is not by our might or power but by the grace of the living God that we are here today!. We thank you father.

Today, 20th December 2007, I thank God that I am "a witness to the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ." I am thankful that I am able to "freely" tell people about Jesus, what He has done and what He can do in their lives. I am able to share this free gift of salvation through our redeemer, Jesus Christ.
Why? Well, I heard a story once. It was about a man who saved up every single penny he could, to go on a cruise. When he had finally saved up, he could only afford the cruise ticket (or so he taught). He bought his place on the cruise and then he thought, "I won't have enough money to eat food everyday on the cruise", so he packed himself some cheese and some crackers. Everyday at meal times, when the guests on the cruise went to sit down to eat, he sat on the deck and ate his cheese and crackers, all by himself. Until the last day of the cruise, a gentleman walked up to him and asked, " why don't you ever join us for a meal, breakfast, lunch or dinner"? You are always here eating your crackers and cheese!
The first man said, "well, I could only afford the cruise ticket, which did not include meals!" Only for the second man to reply "the meals are inclusive, breakfast, lunch dinner and anything in-between are FREE on this cruise"!!! Imagine that!

That is why I am thankful for the knowledge and awareness the Holy Spirit gives me and more so, the ability to go out there, and share the free word of God. That takes Holy Ghost power guts! :-) I am thankful because I am able to live out the reality of Matthew 28:16-20 "16 Then the eleven disciples went away into Galilee, to the mountain which Jesus had appointed for them. 17 When they saw Him, they worshiped Him; but some doubted. 18 And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. 19 Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen."

I am thankful for being a witness, for it means I am acknowledging my faith before man and thus, Jesus will acknowledge mine as it is written in Luke 12:8-9 "8 “Also I say to you, whoever confesses Me before men, him the Son of Man also will confess before the angels of God. 9 But he who denies Me before men will be denied before the angels of God."

I am thankful for being a witness for it is an opportunity to tell someone about the hope I have found in Jesus Christ, and in doing so, I pray it will encourage someone to embrace everything that Jesus Christ represents as thought in 1 Peter 3:15 "Instead, you must worship Christ as Lord of your life. And if someone asks about your Christian hope, always be ready to explain it."

So today, dear Lord, I am truly thankful that I am NOT ashamed to be a witness to your gospel, your words, your breath, for every thing you stand for! I am indeed thankful that I can actually open my mouth or flex my fingers on the keyboard and speak about the wonders of your love, of your healing power, of your wisdom, your blessings, of simply, your awesomeness!

I am thankful for when I speak to people about you; I am planting and watering the seed of you in their lives, creating room for the Holy Spirit to do the rest! Oh! Daddy, I pray this box of thanksgiving I lay at your feet, is pleasant and acceptable in thy sight; I pray it emits a sweet smelling fragrance in your very presence. Be glorified Lord!

Beautiful people, what are you thankful to the Lord for this very day?

Have an awesome day reaching out to those around you, telling them about the saviour who can be the answer to every single one of their prayers, if they simply let Him in.

To seek God
Is to be set free

To be set free
is to be filled with love

To be filled with love
is to have a song to sing

To have a song to sing
is to sing of God's greatness

To sing of God' greatness
is to be lifted up into his presence
To be lifted up in God's presence
is to be closer to him

31 Days December 2007 Count Down - Day 19

Day 19…. What can I say, it's by His grace we have made it this Far.! Thank you Jesus.
As we fast approach the end of the year, I would like to encourage you to incorporate some prayer and fasting into your thanksgivings; to present your heart's desire to the father and to align you will with His, for 2008! Prayer, backed with fasting, wrapped around thanksgiving... a winning formula don't you think?

Well, today peeps, guess what? I am thankful for MY SANCTUARY! My home from home! Where my extended family resides. I am thankful for Newwine Church .

I am thankful for my sanctuary for it is where I come together with my brothers and sister in Christ and give crazy, uninhibited praise to the most High God as we are thought in Hebrews 10:25 "Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching. " Father I thank you, for I'm glad for the day I found this place where I can make Hebrews 10:25 my reality.

Yes, I am thankful for the day, I drove past (on the bus that is) in despair and in need, and the Holy Spirit literally tugged at me until I got off that same bus and walked into the sanctuary! That was the beginning of an eventful journey!

I am thankful for my sanctuary, because there, I have been, watered, fed, pruned, and sharpened, living out the realities of Proverbs 27:17 "Iron sharpeneth iron; so a man sharpeneth the countenance of his friend." Thank you Jesus.

In the same sanctuary I have been comforted, loved and nurtured in the reality of Hebrews 10:24 "And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works:"

I am thankful for my sanctuary, for I am able to be live out the reality of being a servant for the Lord, living out the intricacies of Mark 9:35 "And he sat down, and called the twelve, and saith unto them, If any man desire to be first, the same shall be last of all, and servant of all."

I am thankful for the teams that accepted me into the fold, encouraged me to explore and utilise the gifts the good Lord has given me. I am truly thankful!

I am thankful for my sanctuary because I have found a family in every single person I am connected to in there!

Finally, I am thankful for my sanctuary because by being a part, I have been impacted with the spirit of Excellence! Oh my! There ain't nothing like it I tell you! It follows me everywhere I go, wherever I go. Father, I am so thankful!

So today, wonderful father, I am thankful for the sanctuary you have planted me in. I am thankful for Newwine church. I am thankful for the people who have become my family, I am thankful for the teams who took me as I am,(talkative and all! :-) ), giving me an opportunity to becoming a faithful servant as you commanded. I am thankful for the words coming from the pulpit, the notes I am able to take, the lessons I have learnt, and that which is yet to come. I thank you for what you have done for us, what you are doing and what is yet to come. Daddy, I pray, let this be a sweet smelling sacrifice in thy sight. Be glorified, be praised.

Beautiful people, what are you thankful to the Lord for this very day?

Have a wonderful day, presenting your thanks to the Lord of lords and the King of glory.

Much Love

31 Days December 2007 Count Down - Day 18

Today, I am thankful for my personal teacher and mentor "THE HOLY SPIRIT"! I am thankful for His constant teachings, guiding, directing and gently stirring in the right direction!

I am thankful to the Holy spirit for giving me the very words that I print on these pages! Yup, I don't write these He does :-) I love you Holy Spirit.

I am thankful to and for the Holy Spirit because of His constantly teaching me new things, new things of the spirit and in the natural, as was promised in 1 corinthians 2:13 "13Which things also we speak, not in the words which man's wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual."

I am thankful to and for the Holy Spirit, for not only does He teach me things, He makes me remember everything He has thought me! How awesome! He makes me remember the words of God, helps me to hide them within the corners of my heart, never to forget, never to depart! The reality of the promise in John 14:26 "26But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you."

I am thankful to and for the Holy Spirit for He is a wonderful comforter! At various points in 2007, I have needed someone to comfort me and tell me it will be alright, and He has always been there, constantly! Just as promised in John 15:26 " 26But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, even the Spirit of truth, which proceedeth from the Father, he shall testify of me"

I am thankful to and for the Holy Spirit for not only does He teach, comforts, makes me remember, but He prays for me! Now how cool is that! He intercedes for me! I mean, I'm not certainly as wise or as smart as God, and sometimes I pray for things that God knows will not be good for me; things that might make me big-headed or even fall out of the will of God.! So I'm thankful that the Holy Spirit, who is all knowing, prays for what IS good for me! He prays for me in advance, for things I haven't even thought of!

So, today dear Lord, here I am again, with my box full of thanksgiving for the the presence and Joy of the Holy Spirit in my life. I thank you for His teachings, His encouragement, His prayers, His guidance and His comfort. Dear daddy, Let this be a wonderful fragrance in thy sight. Be glorified.

Beautiful people, HERE IS YOUR INVITATION, WHAT ARE YOU THANKFUL TO THE LORD FOR THIS VERY DAY?

Have an awesome day being taught, encouraged and comforted by the Holy Spirit; not forgetting to make God famous along the way.
Much Love

The day I gave my life to Christ
A helper Jesus placed in my life
He dwells within the walls of my heart
He's part of the very makings of me
He teaches, guides and comforts
Bestowing untold gifts and much wisdom
guiding my footsteps as I
make my way through each day's journey
A helper Jesus sent my way
guiding my footsteps towards the
rhythm of God's heartbeat
enveloping my living in the
reality of his will
stepping in tune, a day at a time
making him famous along the way
